 ✔ Germanicus - a plaster statue of the famous commander of Ancient Rome, who achieved considerable military success in the first years of our era. The original white marble bust of this figure was made during his lifetime (around the 10s AD) by an unknown sculptor. Now he adorns the collection of the Louvre Museum in Paris. Another sculpture depicting a full-length Germanicus in a toga is also related to antiquity. It was created in the 20s of our era, found during the excavations of the ancient Roman city of Gabiy, and today it is also located in the Louvre.

 Finally, a more modern (but no less famous) bronze copy of this plaster sculpture is located on the Grand Cascade of Petrodvorets. It was created by the Russian casting master Yekimov in 1801, using the antique work of Cleomenes as the original. The statue is cast from the purest bronze, giving it a bright golden, sparkling appearance. A characteristic feature of the work is the very high growth of the commander Germanicus, which gives him a noble and courageous
